Our reaction to Cardozo's game-winning penalty kick:
Not a single car, person, or bus could be seen outside during the two hours of the game...but as soon as Paraguay won with a 5-3 penalty shoot-out, the streets were filled with fireworks, honking horns, and the red-white-and-blue blur of Paraguayan flags waving in the air.
What an exciting time to be in Paraguay. Thank you Lord for letting me be a part of it!
