Saturday Snapshots:


We set up a makeshift studio to take family portraits, which we printed with a photo printer and gave to each of the families at La Esquina.


Joel and Cristian led the kids in praise and worship


And like our usual Saturdays at La Esquina, we served them a hot meal after Bible study.



Being the Koreans that we are, we stayed up playing games with punishments, which included eating a spoonful of eggplant powder (...of all random things) and one of Choi 집사님's culinary "creations." Eric describes a little bit of what the latter tasted like in the video above.



The adults wanted to join in the fun, so we taught them how to play Spoons. Watch how Jeon 집사님 tricks Sonia 집사님 into picking up the spoon prematurely. So devious! It was like watching an older version of my friends from college.

(Unfortunately, I think only CCM people will be able to see these videos. But most likely only the CCMers will find this funny anyway...)

The Onion Punishment

I wonder if thirty years from now, we'll still be sitting in those circles, playing ridiculous card games and coming up with even more ridiculous ways to punish each other.

I hope so :)
