arrived

Manchan and Dinko on the way to Paraguay
The team arrived safely and in good spirits Tuesday night, despite a few complications during travel (some of their suitcases didn't arrive until yesterday, and today we'll be picking up the last piece of luggage from the airport, God willing).  But long story short, God is good, all the time.  Even when things like flight times and lost bags seem to be out of our control, we have faith that our sovereign God is always in control.  The peace that this assurance gives is so apparent in each of the team members, and I've already been so encouraged by them even though they've only been here for a few days!

We had our first Hora Feliz at La Esquina de la Sonrisa yesterday, with approximately 300 people in attendance.  Thankfully the cold snap ended just as the team arrived, so we were able to walk around various neighborhoods and invite each household to the Hora Feliz.  We'll be wrapping up the second (and last) day of Hora Feliz at La Esquina this Saturday, so please pray for the people of Puerto Pabla (where La Esquina is located), that the hearts of the lost would be softened and opened to the Gospel through interacting with the missionaries and participating in the Hora Feliz. Also please continue to keep the team in your prayers as they dedicate themselves to encouraging local Christians and reaching out to the Paraguayans with a humble, Christ-like attitude.
